"In the modern world we also tend to see
everything as if it were a machine, including our most precious
relationships." -- Thomas Moore
Relationship coaching holds the relationship as the client, rather than the
sum of the individuals involved in the relationship. This groundbreaking
approach works well for any type of relationship -- boards of directors,
leadership groups, departments, work teams, business partnerships, families,
partners, and couples.
Specific
coaching services are tailored to the needs of each client.
Depending on client need, those services may include:
|
Assessment:
|
A
variety of assessments
are available to the client, including self-assessments on team and
family relationships, relationship values, communication styles, and
interpersonal interaction styles. For
clients who wish to focus on their professional relationships, 360
degree feedback assessments are available to engage feedback from a
client’s boss, colleagues or teammates, and direct reports.
|
|
Coaching:
|
Weekly
coaching sessions are focused on the client’s goals and needs.
These sessions typically take place over the phone and scheduled
for 30 minutes each.
|
|
Fieldwork:
|
Between
coaching sessions, the clients are asked to undertake one or more
fieldwork exercises. These
exercises are co-created by the coach and clients to help the clients
make progress toward their goal.
|
|
Development Diary:
|
The
clients may choose to document experiences with assignments and coaching
sessions in a Development Diary. The
Development Diary helps clients document their accomplishments, identify
successes and areas they would like to further develop, and identify
issues they would like to bring to the next coaching session.
Many clients find it helpful to have a diary of their progress
during the coaching period.

is but a network of relationships and these alone matter to him." --
