Dan’s broad
experience with Performance Improvement strategies led him to create an in-house
performance improvement consulting team at American United Life, an $11 billion
financial services company. This
consulting team successfully addressed issues of employee productivity,
retention, and job satisfaction; change management and the merging of cultures
during company acquisitions; targeted performance reviews with ongoing feedback;
teambuilding for improved performance and morale; and effective leadership
development through training, coaching, and on-the-job application of new
skills. These initiatives changed
the way managers and leaders viewed employee performance throughout the company
and contributed to a culture in which employees felt valued for their efforts.
Prior to his work with American United Life, Dan created a comprehensive
leadership development program for leaders from 20 countries focused on
increasing their effectiveness in communications, problem-solving, strategic
planning, and other leadership issues.
